    About Neil Shaw FRICS

Location - 11 Milton Road, Copnor Bridge, Copnor, Portsmouth, PO3 6AN

Neil is our director of 27 years and describes his job as ‘a bit of everything’.

Neil holds a BSc in Estate Management from Portsmouth Polytechnic, is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and a Fellow of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (FARLA).

He says that he loves the challenge of running a commercial organisation and creating an environment where staff are happy and enjoy what they do and where together they all strive to provide clients with the best possible service. ‘It only works if it all works’, says Neil.

Neil’s claim to fame that he worked selling pasties and sausage rolls at Wembley Stadium at the first Live Aid concert in 1985. Equally memorable, for the wrong reasons, was the time in 1984 when he was robbed in a bus station in Lima, Peru, on the first day of a three month backpacking trip to South America.

He had his passport, air ticket and all his money stolen but lived to tell the tale.

Neil is an avid football fan who still tries to play twice a week with other ‘deluded middle aged men that should know better’. Other pursuits include walking Finn, the family’s hyperactive Springer Spaniel.

Neil is married to fellow director Susan with three children, a dog and five chickens.

His favourite book is To Kill a Mockingbird, film is Invictus, TV programme is Match of the Day, song is Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now and meal is the Sunday roast.

Swanage and the Isle of Purbeck are a regular retreat to relax with the family.
