We carry out thorough credit checks and referencing through a dedicated reference agency. You will be required to fill out an application form (one per tenant) and provide us with a copy of some photo ID. (UK driving license or passport) and proof of address (e.g. recent utility bill). The application form includes details of a previous landlord (if you have one) and your employer in order to contact them to obtain a reference. Making sure you provide as much information as possible could help to speed the process up. NB – A refundable Holding Deposit, equivalent to one week of the advertised rent, will be payable after your viewing if you wish to secure the property and undertake referencing. It is important to fully inform us of your personal situation before the application process begins. A poor credit history or unsatisfactory references could result in the failure of your application and the forfeiture of your holding deposit.
If your checks and references are deemed to be satisfactory, all that there is left to do is arrange a move in date with you and issue you with the paperwork associated with your move.
