Redditch: Perfect for commuters

There will be two things which matter the most when people are
trying to decide on a commuter town to live in before they start a
job in a big city, these are the facilities that it offers to those
who choose to move there, and the travel links and how easy it
makes it to reach the city from their new place of residence.
One town which will offer new commuters great options for both of
these aspects, when they are looking for somewhere just outside of
Birmingham, can be discovered while searching for
property for sale in Redditch.
Redditch is an area in the north east of Worcestershire, and it is
located just 15 miles to the south of Birmingham. The population of
the area is around 80,000, which means that it is a town where
there is likely to be plenty going on, but those who are travelling
in daily will not have to pay the likes of big city prices and deal
with the busiest populations around the country.
Redditch is served by a large shopping centre, which is vital for
any commuter town, because of the fact that people who are working
all day in the big city will not want to have to also travel there
on weekends if they wish to do a bit of retail therapy, making a
good shopping area essential.
Another necessary element of a commuter town, is that it has good
transport links to the city that people are likely to be working
in. Redditch is served by its own train station which has a direct
line to Birmingham New Street, making travelling to the city for
work an effortless and short task every day.
Parents will also be glad to know that the town has a range of
schools, allowing them to make sure that they are allowing their
kids to take the right path throughout their educational lives, as
well as many exciting points of interest such as the Arrow Valley
Country Park, perfect for walking in as a family.
