Homebuyers 'looking for green houses for sale'

There could be more homebuyers looking for environmentally-friendly
houses for sale in the UK.
This is because Alison Coleman, marketing manager from Magnet, has
revealed that as people are becoming more environmentally conscious
this is "reflected in every purchase for the home".
Her comment comes after Santander Mortgages reported in June that
first-time buyers spend an average of £3,782 renovating their
new homes.
It also revealed that one in six first-time buyers spend less than
£1,000 on transforming their properties, suggesting that in
order to achieve a green home they are more likely to buy them
already equipped with environmentally-friendly features.
Ms Coleman said that these could include durable worktops which are
partly made from recycled consumer waste and industrial
waste.
She added that they are "an environmentally-friendly way to
decorate your kitchen".
Recent research released by Ikea earlier this week confirmed her
comments, revealing that more householders want an energy-efficient
space in their kitchens.
